The Clark Gable Foundation announces that its 75th Anniversary Celebration of the greatest motion picture ever made Gone With The Wind, will take place on Friday October 3 and Saturday October 4th in Cadiz and New Philadelphia, Ohio respectively.  Special guests for both events will be Mr. Mickey Kuhn and Mr. Patrick Curtis.  Both gentlemen played Beau Wilkes, son of Ashley and Melanie Wilkes.  Mr. Kuhn played Beau as a child and is one of only two cast members credited in the movie along with Olivia DeHavilland who as Melanie Wilkes played his mother still living.  Mr. Curtis was the infant “baby Beau” in the film.

Friday evening will take place in Cadiz at the Cadiz Country Club with a mystery dinner event.  The mystery will involve the author of Gone With The Wind, Margaret Mitchell. Cocktails at 5:30 with dinner at 7PM.  Tickets for this event can be purchased in advance by calling 740-942-GWTW.

Saturday events will take place at the Tuscarawas County Branch of Kent State University Performing Arts Center in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Doors will open at 11AM for exhibits and sales tables. At 1PM Mr. Kuhn and Mr. Curtis will conduct a forum discussing the film and their Hollywood careers. Beginning at 2PM will be an auction of collectables in most cases signed by the various actors in the film including Cammie King, Fred Crane, Rand Brooks, Ann Rutherford and more.  Proceeds to benefit the Clark Gable Foundation. The Auction will be followed by the screening of Gone With the Wind in Kent States beautiful state of the art theater at the Performing Arts Center.  At 4:30 the film will be introduced by Mr. Curtis and Mr. Kuhn.
